Day 01: Delhi - Arrival
Receive a warm welcome on your arrival at the Delhi airport by our GeTS Rajasthan Holiday representative who will then assist you to check in at a hotel for an overnight stay where you will also receive a warm and traditional welcome. Freshen up and tour the tourist attractions of New & Old Delhi with the GeTS holiday guide. India's capital and a major gateway to the country, it is a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient and the modern. Its strategic location was one of the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power. It is not surprising then, that it is a conglomerate of seven cities. New Delhi reflects the legacy the British left behind and old Delhi is the distinction between the capitals of the British and the mughals respectively. So, wherever the visitor goes he will invariably confront the city's past. Return to the hotel for a buffet dinner and spend the night there.
Day 02: Delhi - Mukundgarh
Drive to Mukundgarh on day 2 of the Cherished Castle Tour of Rajasthan with GeTS Rajasthan Holiday guide. Upon arrival Check in at a hotel by the assistance of our GeTS holiday representative. Mukundgarh today boasts of the finest frescoes of the Shekhawati Region which is commonly called the "Open Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan". It lies in Shekhavati, a region once on the silk route on China, its inhabitants the rich merchants lavishly decorated their houses with paintings on religious, historical, folk and social themes, tour the colorful bazaars and numerous beautifully painted havelis of Nawalgarh, Mandawa and Dundlod. Come back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 03: Mukundgarh - Pushkar
Drive to Pushkar in Rajasthan, with our GeTS holiday representative. Famous for the annual Pushkar fair Pushkar enchants you with its ancient religious shrines and lakes. Check in at a hotel for an overnight stay. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 04: Pushkar
Today or GeTS holiday representative takes you on a guided tour of Pushkar – the city of Brahma, on arrival check in into hotel and take a tour covering Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Temple – The only exquisite temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, Apteshwar Mahadeo Temple – Dedicated to Lord Shiva. Go back to the hotel for a scrumptious dinner and an overnight sleep.
Day 05: Pushkar - Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur with our GeTS holiday guide and check in at a hotel on arrival. Relax and spend the rest of the day at leisure touring the local villages and mingling up with the locals and studying their life styles.
Day 06: Jodhpur
Morning go for a village safari in the jeep with our GeTS representative and have a rare glimpse into the rich culture and true essence of India. Abundant wildlife (game) and memorable moments of the great desert landscape fascinates one while driving along the countryside and tour the city covering Mehrangarh fort – unsurpassed in beauty & grandeur, it is one of the largest forts in India. Innumerable palaces in the fort, interspersed with sprawling courtyards, are intricately carved Jaswanthada – The 19th century royal cenotaph, a creation in white marble, Clock tower – The timely treasure of Jodhpur, and the bazaars of Jodhpur before coming back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Drive to Ranakpur on day 7 of the Unforgettable Palace Tour and check in at a hotel. Visit Jain Temple which is an architectural genius. One of the remarkable things about the temple is the wonderful play of shadow and light on the nearly 1,500 pillars, each of which interestingly displays a different decorative design. As the sun's ray’s shift through the day, the pillars color change from gold to pale blue. Check in at the hotel and later. Spend the day relaxing.
Day 08: Ranakpur - Mount Abu
Tour the beautiful Ranakpur Jain Temples Jain temples of Ranakpur during the first half of the day with your GeTS Rajasthan representative and then drive to Mount Abu later in the day. After arriving at hotel the GeTS representative will help you in checking in at hotel. It is the only hill station in Rajasthan. Its stunning array of exquisite Dilwara Jain Temples, dating back 11th- 13th century, make it a popular pilgrimage center. Later start half day sightseeing of Mount Abu, visiting its natural attractions and splendid temples. Visit the Vimala-Vasahi Temple and Luna-Vasahi Temple. Check in at a hotel on arrival. Enjoy an extensive sightseeing tour before retiring for the night at the hotel.
Day 09: Mount Abu - Udaipur
Drive to Udaipur with our GeTS holiday guide -It is the historic capital of the former kingdom of Mewar. The city is dominated by the City Palace overlooking the Lake Pichola, with the colorful bazaars of the old city stretching behind. To the northwest is Shilpgram, a living ethnographic museum depicting diversities in craft, art and architecture, with artisans, folk performers and replicas of traditional houses. It is home to the beautiful Lake Palace on Lake Pichola. The city museum with various interesting artifacts intricately carved Jain temples at Ranakpur. Known for its Rajput-era palaces, the City Palace of Udaipur is a fascinating combination of Rajput military architecture and Mughal style decorative techniques. Day 10: Udaipur - Kota
Drive to Kota with our GeTS Rajasthan holiday representative and visit the tourist attractions of Bundi en route visiting Ranakpur temples – the pilgrimage centre of Rajasthan a few of the numerous temples are Chaturmukh temples and Chittorgarh also en route which has always been the pride and glory of Rajasthan: Once the place which was full of citadels, graceful palaces and chhattris, today lies in ruins. But these ruins echo the tales of valor and romance of the past, very unique to Rajasthan and the Rajput people. Upon arrival at Kota check in at a hotel by the assistance of our GeTS executive and stay there overnight.
Day 11: Kota - Jaipur
See the local attractions of Kota: the City Palace with our GeTS tour guide. The present structure is the result of constructions carried out by different rulers at different stages without any predefined plan. So, one sees bastions and massive ramparts studded with elegant cupolas and carved balustrades where the Mogul elements of decoration are superimposed on Rajput structures. Do check out some beautiful colored glass and frescoes most of which depict Lord Krishna with the gopis, before driving to Jaipur in Rajasthan, India. Day 12: Jaipur
Tour Jaipur with the GeTS Rajasthan Holiday guide, as he tells you the focal point of the city of Jaipur is the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, a five storey high Baroque- like structure built to enable the veiled ladies of the harem to observe the street scenes below and remain unnoticed. The City Palace, a wonderful combination of Mughal and Rajput forms of architecture, is now partly a museum housing miniature paintings, manuscripts, Mughal carpets, musical instruments, royal costumes and weapons, giving invaluable insight into Jaipur's royal past. Day 13: Jaipur - Agra
Drive to Agra in Uttar Pradesh, India with our GeTS holiday that will check in at a hotel on arrival for you, freshen up and tour the splendid Taj Mahal. Visit the Agra Fort and other Mughal monuments. The city of Agra flourished under the patronage of the emperors Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan and attracted artisans from Persia and central Asia. Agra is still famous for handicrafts products such as inlay work on marble, carpets, jewellery, zari and embroidery work. A few kilometers northwest of Agra lies Sikandra, Akbar's mausoleum. A world-famous icon, the Taj Mahal is widely believed to be designed to represent an earthly replica of houses in paradise. The imposing red sandstone Agra Fort set on the west bank of the Yamuna was built by Emperor Akbar between 1565 and 1573. Their rampart form a crescent along the river front, and encompasses an enormous complex of courtly buildings, ranging in style from the early eclecticism of Akbar to the sublime elegance of Shah Jahan. Day 14: Agra - Delhi
