Mahansar India
Mahansar is a quaint little town located in the Shekhawati region. It was built during 18th century and is around 40 km away from Jhunjhunu. The Sone Chandi ki Dukan that dates backs to 1846 is one of Mahansar's most important attractions. This is the site where you may find gold leaves intricately woven into the paintings that adorn the walls. Three vaulted ceilings adorn the Haveli thus giving it a very unique look. Scenes from Ramayana and the life of Krishna adorn the ceilings.
Constructed in a very elaborate manner, the dancing hall is one of the most important attractions of Mahansar.
Many pilgrims and tourists all around the year visit Raghunath temple. This beautiful Temple also houses paintings that are said to have been inspired from the Bikaner school of paintings.
